DX Type Purification AC
Introduction:
A DX Purification AHU is a direct expansion type air handling unit with a purification or filter section. This special DX AHU can effectively incorporate air purification technologies to provide clean and healthy indoor air environments.

Filters:
The filters can be bag filters, plate filters, roller shutter filters, chemical filters, and electronic filters. There are various options for customers’ requirements and different conditions. Besides, High-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filters can be installed to remove particles and contaminants from the air stream. Ultraviolet germicidal irradiation (UVGI) can be used to sterilize and deactivate airborne pathogens like bacteria and viruses. Activated Carbon Filters: These filters can adsorb volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and odors from the air.

Application:
-
Healthcare Facilities: Hospitals and clinics benefit from clean air to prevent cross-contamination.
-
Laboratories: Clean environments are critical for sensitive experiments and research.
-
Cleanrooms: Industries such as semiconductor manufacturing, microelectronics, aerospace, and optics require cleanrooms with controlled levels of airborne particles and environmental pollutants. Purification AHUs are designed with high-efficiency filters (HEPA or ULPA) and stringent airflow control to achieve and maintain the required cleanliness levels.
-
Food Processing and Manufacturing: Facilities involved in food processing and manufacturing need to maintain clean air to ensure product safety and compliance with hygiene standards. Purification AHUs help in removing airborne contaminants and maintaining a sterile environment in production areas.
-
Pharmaceutical Manufacturing: Similar to cleanrooms, pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities require purification AHUs to maintain sterile conditions during the production and packaging of drugs. These units contribute to maintaining the quality and purity of pharmaceutical products.
-
High-Tech Manufacturing: Industries producing sensitive electronic components, optics, and precision instruments utilize purification AHUs to prevent airborne particles and contaminants from affecting product quality and performance.
-
Data Centers: Data centers require precise control over temperature and humidity to ensure the reliable operation of servers and IT equipment. Purification AHUs help to maintain clean air by filtering out dust and particulates that could potentially damage sensitive electronics.
-
Commercial Buildings: Offices and public spaces where air quality affects occupant comfort and productivity.

Features:
-
Flexibility: DX AHUs can be scaled for different sizes of spaces, from small rooms to large commercial buildings. The different function sections are provided for flexible combination.
-
Various Filter Options: Bag filters, plate filters, roller shutter filters, chemical filters, and electronic filters.
-
Compact Design: DX systems are often compact, making them suitable for various indoor environments.
-
Cost-Effective: Initial installation costs can be lower compared to more complex HVAC systems.
